The near universal appeal is easy to understand, as is the endearing name, “cuddles;” puffed pillows of fried pizza dough, eaten plain as a traditional street food, or better, torn open and stuffed with cool, creamy and tangy stracchino (Italian cream cheese) and a slice of salty cured prosciutto. Where to find coccoli con crudo e stracchino : This dish is found in restaurant/pizzerias
    in and around Florence. In Southern Tuscany they have a different name, a different shape, and are often served plain without the cheese and prosciutto.
