  • Son of a French writer, Clet began his artistic career as a painter and sculptor, after earning his degree at the School of Fine Arts in Rennes. In 1990, he moved to Rome, where he worked as a restorer. Clet arrived in Florence in 2005. There, he opened a paint studio. A few years later, he entered the world of Street Art. Basically, he uses removable stickers to modify and “decorate” street signs all around the city.
However, Clet’s most spectacular creation is “The Common Man”, a fiberglass statue he installed on Ponte alle Grazie. He defines his work as “the essential alternative to institutional art”.
