Give an honest description of your accommodation highlighting positive features (Example: it’s bright, spacious, quiet, one step away from the city centre, there’s a private bathroom, wi-fi, parking, air conditioning, a garden, it’s well served by transport…)

Write the description of the accommodation in different languages so your Guests from all over the world will be more likely to find and select you.

Add a good picture of you to your profile, it’s better if you’re the clear subject.

Fill in all the fields in your user profile, indicating your interests, sports you play and your job if you want. Remember that your Guest is interested in knowing you as a person not just the accommodation that you offer.

Fill in all the preference fields: smoker, animals, if you’re chatty and what languages you speak.

Leave a reference for the Guests you host, it means they’re more likely to leave one for you. The more reviews you receive as a Host, the more likely other Guests will choose you.

Keep the information about your accommodation and the calendar with your availability up to date. It increases the likelyhood of receiving desired reservations.

Reply promptly whenever a Guest contacts you, it demonstrates you are a reliable and thoughtful Host. If your listing isn’t available be sure to refuse the reservation as soon as possible.

Help your Guest! Even if you live off-site it is important to be hospitable and accommodating throughout the period of stay. You’ll receive a higher rating in addition to offering the Guest a more pleasant stay.
