  • The Formelle cabinet in the sacristy of Santa Croce is a series of twenty-eight paintings in tempera and gold on wood (approximately 35×30 cm each tile, except the first and last of the two series, measuring 35×25 cm, and the two semi-lunettes of 67×76 cm each) by Taddeo Gaddi, dating to around 1335-1340 and stored mostly in the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence.
