  • Seminoe State Park is a state park located 35 miles (56 km) north of Sinclair in Carbon County, Wyoming. The park surrounds the Seminoe Reservoir, formed by the Seminoe Dam at the base of the Seminoe Mountains. The park consists of 1,450 acres (590 ha) of land and 20,191 acres (8,171 ha) of water. Gold prospecting occurred around the park in the late 1800s Seminoe State Park has a picnic area, shelters, beaches, a boat ramp, playgrounds, and 61 campsites in four campgrounds. Wildlife in the park includes bobcats, mule deer, skunks, raccoons, moose, elk, mountain lions, bighorn sheep, rabbits, and bald eagles.
